I was not born blind but,
Fate,
stumbled my way there.
Pushed past limits,
Looming like darkened ledges,
Cross an abyssal gaze.
I still sought my own light,
Until my hollowed heart could dare,
once, again ( Jamais,
vu ) to dream.
Hope opened wide,
to a life-forsaken sight,
Freedom’s spirit flowed,
in radiant-spaken streams,
Reminding folded fists,
how to fight o’er debts owed.
Now,
a first-and-final,
gauntlet’s respite:
Victory dearly,
(but rarely clearly)
won,
Igniting transcendence,
Solely born to blaze,
forever bright.
With tomorrow’s promised curse,
Gripped round time’s sands tight,
Fueled by yesterdaze,
Slipping into worlds,
yet to be,
Remembered in any ways.
A beautiful burden.
Born beneath the feats,
Of All-Father’s,
Self-risen,
( on repeat ),
Never settling,
Truth shedding,
Suns.
