“The sky was darkened one day,
By the promise of Tomorrow,
And then it wasn’t ever otherwise.”
– Man who never lived to see tomorrow.
What are we supposed to do,
Between those historically protected periods,
Of when we wake and fall to sleep,
Besides clamber to find someone,
Stupidly desperate enough,
To be willing to love us enough to loose us,
Upon the world when we’re done with them.
